Volunteer Information
Every year scientists visit the Preserve to collect specimens using a variety of methods.

The scientists require able volunteers to assist them in collecting specimens, recording data, working with them in the lab, and other important tasks.
What is a Citizen Scientist?
- Citizen Scientists are volunteers that help provide key support to the All Taxa Biodiversity (ATBI) effort.
- "Citizen scientists" of all ages enjoy opportunities to learn, explore, make friends, and contribute to a unique and worthwhile endeavor.
- They can perform a variety of functions from contributing to the scientific collection of data for one of the TWiGS, to helping provide support to a Bio Blitz, to such things as being a photographer or web page designer.
